That does look cool, now if someone would just build a kit like that in 1/5 scale I'd be all over it. Still, 1/8 might be nice, but at 6 lbs I think you'd have to have a serious brushless system in there, not just one of the lower end ones. Oh and add some 3c lipos...maybe 4c???

Yeah, you're probably right. I wish more companies would build gasoline powered cars (or trucks) at least for the larger scales, it would be a cheaper alternative to nitro and it would still have the sound. But yeah, BL is the next wave.

i think a nicaly priced 1/8 scale gasser would sell ALOT but my friend in ny (stampedekid on byt) and i are thinkin of doin a build off of these things and once u start looking you can build one of these things cheap i mean like 50$ for twin 2s batt's 40-ish for charger and power suply 30 for a Feigao 9xl clone so for 2 2s lipo batts (3000mah 30c) a 2s-4s lipo charger and 5a power suply and 2200kv motor only 102.75$ +the 180 for the buggy + like 170 is for a new mmm (cheaper if you buy used) so round 450 ish plus shipping for a buggy that'll probly out run nitros aint thast bad and just to build up like a d8 is like 500 for the kit and just motor and u mean like this http://204.186.93.64/Grenadier.htm or its mt counterpart http://204.186.93.64/StalwartII.htm

tho one thing the Mt ones is gunna have trouble with is gunna be the diffs, you'll need the NEWEST flux diffs with hpi's super HD gears in it but yeah 1/8's getting cheaper you can get stuff for them pretty cheap too which is nice

......under 400$.....im shocked for a new lx-1e 2 2s lipo charger power suply esc motor and heat sink with fan....its posable 180(lx-1e)+38(4s worth of 3000mah 30c lipos)+24(charger for 2s-4s lipo)+10(5 amp power suply)+125(EZrun 80a motor esc combo with program card and pinnion)=377$......considering most nitro buggy kits are not rtr around that much
