I used some plaster of paris we had laying around from a project of old and some vaseline

then once i mixxed it all up, which was not the 2 parts plaster to 1 part water that i found online more like 4 to 1 for a thicker consitancy i scooped it into the hubs, which i had allready coated in vaseline

Not too ago, I picked up a velineon kit and slapped it in my Bandit. Needless to say it was fun. Not too after that, I picked up an Integy alloy tranny case for the Bandit too. Not wanting to start a flame war but at this point, I'm confused about the seemly endless bad rap Integy gets on some of the boards. The tranny case is quite nice and went together without a hitch. Also, as I had hoped, the aluminum case acts as a heat sink and really draws heat from the BL motor - it gets mildly warm ...

Just for bashing on my track I picked up Dirt Hawgs, Gladiators and Pro-Line Torkerz wheels. I really like the dirt hawgs and Torkerz for this truck...the gladiators were an after thought and the jury is still out for having them in the front. I hope to burn a little Nitro today - it's a perfect day for it here...

Well my dad surprised me yesterday by making a 1 hour one way trip to boston to pick up this for 800 bucks. Its got a v6 the rims and tires are brand new as well as a custom magnaflow exaust. The hood is going for something a bit smaller, but have made some diagnosis today and what I'm going to do, the hpaint is peeling like crazy so I have to strip it to get it painted as well as remove some of the rust on the rear fenders. I took off the stickers today and some of the other stuff.

He said Traxxas just (this week maybe) announced that they will start an upgrade program to go from Traxxas brushed systems to Velineon BL systems, similiar to the nitro engine upgrade program.

No details yet but rumor has it that you could save up to 30 bucks or more by trading in your XL-5 system for the Velineon system.

Just thought I'd give everyone the heads-up...it sounds like a pretty decent ...

Hi All,

I have a set of front alloy knuckles. I can't recall who made them but they are NOT GPM's. They're the kind that have the screw on bearing cover. Anyway, dimension wise they seem to slightly increase the offset of my wheels to the point that they rub against the front fender walls on both my 350Z body and my newer 65 mustang body. If I use the stock knuckles no problem. With these alloys also, I have to use the 3 degree tie-rod arm or I get noticeable toe-out too.

Anyway, my ...

Did this get worked out eventually? Are the Losi Micros well built or should I expect some immediate fixes to make them more respectable?

I can't decide between 1/18 or 1/36 but I like the Desert trucks in both scales - that's fer sure.
