Well i finnally got back home this monday to find a nice big package awaiting me at my doorstep

Inside was a brand new in box factory team T4 truck with some extra sets of tires (anyone need some holeshots?)

So i spent about 8 hours over the next 2 days and went from a few bags of parts to this:

Well i got to drive about 2 5000mah lipo packs through it (about 40 minutes) with a 17.5 motor... I gotta say I'm glad i went associated. Its light and quick ...

After spending hours browsing all over the net i finially gave up on finding a 17mm hex with a 5mm ID for my evader... sooo i made some... well started too at least

I used some plaster of paris we had laying around from a project of old and some vaseline

then once i mixxed it all up, which was not the 2 parts plaster to 1 part water that i found online more like 4 to 1 for a thicker consitancy i scooped it into the hubs, which i had allready coated in vaseline

I basically wore out my OEM Pins soooo....

Just for bashing on my track I picked up Dirt Hawgs, Gladiators and Pro-Line Torkerz wheels. I really like the dirt hawgs and Torkerz for this truck...the gladiators were an after thought and the jury is still out for having them in the front. I hope to burn a little Nitro today - it's a perfect day for it here...

Well - I just had to have one so I stopped at the local HS today and picked up a "pede". They had a blue XL-5 in stock that I had my eye on for awhile.

After running two packs thru it - the first being a mild motor break in - the second being a bit more aggresive, two things become apparent:

1) I think I understand the term "bashing" now...

2) As much as you may like this vehicle it tempts you to beat the daylights out it, because it allows you to do it and ...

what i used

the hex's are HPI 17 MM

the screws, which go directly on to the axel HPI Flanged locknut you'll need an 8mm wrench

and some scotch tape

i started off by wrapping the axels with tape as seen here

i just spun the spur and eyeballed the thickness
