Yep, like I needed another reason.

Mark's right though, parents should want to keep their kids from seeing carnage...I really don't get it. At the old Sharon Speedway back in 89 (maybe 88?) I was sitting at the track entrance when a Late Model driver hit and broke the guardrail, it came up in the car and cut him into a few pieces...it was a really bizarre accident. I sat there and watched as they tried to pull people away from the scene...I can't imagine how scared those kids were who managed to gt close enough to see inside of the car. I wasn't all that close, and after I found out what happened I made it a point not to look at them removing him, and even now twenty years latter I can still picture it. I wonder how many kids there had to go through therapy after that?

crap straight Bar...

Quote:
From Tuesday's White House blog entry:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain e-mails or through casual conversation. Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help. If you get an e-mail or see something on the Web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

You are urged to report private citizens (friends, family, neighbors, etc.) if they:

Whether its communicated through e-mail, web sites, blogs, or even casual conversation the executive branch of the federal government is asking you to make them aware of this "disinformation" because they can't keep track of all of the dissenters themselves.

I'm glad to see young people aren't falling for this crap...I'll shut up now before we turn this into a big political fight, but do yourself a favor, read George Orwell's 1984...you'll understand what's happening a lot better.

AWW FUG 1950's all over again... great... i'm for obama but honestly i think we serously need to be a better country and just stop doing random stuff that gets ppl po'd at us... and then ask yourself this, do you NEED to be #1??? another thing if we accually did something about our issues we'd be a lot better off, i'm hearing a lot of talk but i'm not seeing anything on my end... yeah i'm a minor and all that but honestly i know when the craps hit the fan, and it wasn't in 2009 or 2008 or 2007 it was back in the 90's and 80's when we did a whole bunch of stupid arse things during the cold war, and now they're coming back to bite us in our stupid stuck up thinking were invicible behinds... soo yeah... idk where that went but... yeah... sometimes i'm really not proud to be an american...

at work (grocery store) i was putting out some rice, boil in bag rice.... i mean come in serously people if you use this stuff i mean to offend you, its PATHETIC, you can't make RICE!!! a STAPLE crop for OVER 50% of the worlds population, and you can mix 2 parts boiling water with 1 part rice, cook until the water is gone??? its just pathetic imo, but hey maybe im missing something thats super hard about making rice...

okay done ranting...

After you get through with 1984, then pick up a copy of "The FountainHead" and if you can get through it, "Atlas Shrugged" - both by Ayn Rand...

OR NetFlix or rent the movie "The FountainHead" with Gary Cooper - I dare you!

It's really getting scary in Washington...

I don't know who designed this but my dads got an 02 dodge ram. It started rotting a couple years and we were like I'm pretty sure its not supposed to rot this quickly. So we bought osme patch panels and today discovered that these highly paid engineers are absolute idiots. They put foam between the two panels so water goes up in the holes and gets trapped in the foam. It never dries out and eventually rots through in a super quick amount of time. This side wasn't even as bad as the other side. So we are ripping out the foam. Some people...

Ayn Rand is great...ok, so she was a little long winded, and no one has ever talked like her character's dialog...but the messages are dead on. I am a fan of her book The Virtue of Selfishness she's really wrong on some points in it, but overall it is a great book to get you thinking.

Scarry? Yeah a little... in the last three months I have been "hoped and changed" out of two jobs...I have found out that I may need some really annoying medical stuff done that I can't have done right away because the hospitals are backed up because people want to have medical care before it is destroyed... and today my car throws a rod (not B.O.'s fault, I know) just after I pay all of the medical bills I have wracked up so far (no insurance) so I'm now trapped without any real transportation in a small town that hasn't had a job listing in the paper since February (unless you count Avon). And to put the cherry on the sundae, I called my congressman Rep John Boccieri's office asking if he was going to have a town hall meting and I am informed by the secretary that my telephone number has been flagged as hostile and John wont take any correspondence from me in any form because I sent an email asking him to read the bills before voting on them. Yeah Mark, you nailed it, things are getting kind of scary all over.

Just wondering where is everyone at. I know school is starting up and all, but still have fun and relax on here. I know when I was in HS, I always just went with the flow and never really tried too hard (yes that means I never studied for a test and still got a's and b's). Shoot I still don't try all that hard in college and get a's and b's (I think I will change that so I can get all a's). lol

Also note doing like I do in school might not be best for you, but it always worked for me. lol Very Happy
