Hello my friends! Thought it was time to share post up a thead on the newest addition to the barn :wink

She is a Team Associated RC8FT limeted edition kit I plan to turn into a truggified street terror in typical cow fashion :thumb

The stats so far:
- Mamba Monster 2200KV BL combo
- Spektrum Pro Series Receiver SR3001 DSM 3-Channel
- Hitec HS-7955TG V2 High Torque servo
- Zippy 25-30C 4000mah 6s1p
- HPI Blast rim and Phaltline tire combo... Belted with duct tape prior to glueing
- 55wt shock oil
- 100k center, 50k front, 10k rear... diff oils

Here is how she stands at the moment...




In production:
- Finally a True Cow Print Inspired body (proline shift truck body) After many failed attempts at this myself I have enlisted a PRO This is sure to be sweet and essential to making her into an able truggy...

Upgrades on thier way: I got carried away yesterday :dance

- Fioroni Hard Coated Ultra Light Chassis


- Tekno RC V3 Chassis Brace (RC8, Front)


And a ton of King Heads upgrades...

- Front Chassis Brace


- Rear Chassis Brace


- Arm Mount A Plate


- Arm Mount C Plate


- Center Diff Top Plate


- Rear Toe-In Plate


- Arm Mount B Plate


- Upper Top Plate


- Lower Top Plate


Have these coming from The Toyz once released as well....

FT Machined Rear Hub Carriers


FT Machined Steering Blocks


Now I just need it to be the weekend so i can get this beast together :rock

Shocked Shocked that thing is amazing!!! sweet rig cow! im building an rc8e from scratch and was wondering how you liked the mmm combo because that is the system i am looking at.

I love the MMM it is an absolute beast! With the start power on low and the punch control on 90% it can easily pull a wheelie at 30+ mph! Standing still it will do 5' violent flying backflips.... My shocks are not to happy about that lol... Overall I love it although admittedly I have little to compare it to as this is my first brushless 1/8

Good luck on the build my friend... These are kick ass rigs! Wink

A Zippy 25-30C 4000mah 6s1p Shocked so you're going with 25V...that should fly. BTW, have you had Zippy lipos before? I'd like to know if they are good or not but the only reviews I find are on sites that sell them...not that anyone would ever lie to sell something. Suspect

Sorry for the late reply buds Wink The Zippy's may be cheap on price but they are not cheap on quality..... Killer bang for the buck and great performance! For the price they simply cannot be beat Smile
