thanks. I like the combo too. They not only look good together but perform well together. I can't wait for the 26mm motors for the Micro Pro. Twisted Evil Should get this beast up to speed a little faster.

Almost done with the tear down, clean, and rebuild. I am going to change the shock oil (why they are not installed) and need some new tires. Once i finish those details it is just about ready.

Mounted esc where the stock was. So i have some more shock position options.

heat sink install, Now with artic silver. you can't see the green on the CC anymore.

Meant as a battery post for the battery on the left side of the chassis. It will become a antenna mount.

This is how things are going to be wired:

Servo coming from the back of the servo and mounting right to the receiver(yellow, black ,red). Esc going straight to the receiver.(orange, red, brown). And the switch mounting on the side of the servo and the wires running next to the receiver.

I am going to switch to the new traxxas 2.4. Since it can have 20 model memory and it came with the slash 4x4 and has more tuning options than the losi 2.4. Added bonus: One remote for two cars.

Thanks

I hope that's not the 21st of this month...you'll still be snowbound.

I have put it on the calendar. I am looking forward to go, hope fully the weather stays nice and above freezing. The 4x4 will definitely be there. I doubt the late model and the micro dt will be showing up.

As of right now i am waiting for my hobbyking package to show up(accucel 6, 2 2s 5000 hardcase lipos, power supply, and a lipo sack). I might be going to the lhs today and get some big bores, springs, shock oil. Towerhobbies keeps pushing the date back for the Stainless steel screw kit, and the new traxxas receivers. I don't want to put my coupons to waste(expire in 2 weeks) lol.

sidewinder: All the more fun, excepts for the cleaning. (maybe the jconcepts over tray is needed)

All the more reason to come.

My friend may be getting his 4x4 this weekend, and may come to the race.

My hobbyking stuff came, just need to change to deans. And traxxas will be sending replacement axles once they come back in stock. What do you prefer: Traxxas big bores or Proline powerstrokes?
