| I figured I would go ahead and post a build thread. I'm quite proud of this truck as I have been working on it for a while(1 1/2 years) and it still has a long way to go. | Sweet rig bro! At first I thought it was an ax10, but then I saw the slightly differnt geometry. I love the monster body too.

| Your tires are deflated!!! JK, JK!!! Sweet rig!!! I want a crawler soo bad, but i want it to be a "scale" project which means parts from all over the place, and i have no idea where to start, so i gave up. I love the trad design of your new tires! How well do they hook up? | |

| Just do some reading, I got into crawling in 2004, thats when I got into it, I didn't buy my first truck till two years ago. Most don't wait that long of course, but I don't have much cash to toss around so I planned my build for a long time. If you want to go scale a good place to start would be a AX-10 kit, and a TCS X-trail chassis, thats all you would need to build a 2.2 scale truck, except for electronics. Thanks for the comment | |

| Changed it up a little for Crawlapalooza, gonna be lots of people there this year, and manufactures, witch means sponsor opportunities, gotta be on my toes . Moved every thing to the front links to get a lower CG, and to get more weight up front. It will also stand on its side, with the body on. I broke a stock rear axle, so I installed some RC4WD Stainless Straight axles, in the rear. Time to update the list. | Looks great. You put a lot more work into that than I plan on mine. I just took the easy way out and got the HPI crawler kit. But since I plan on a trail rig I don't think I'll even use the axle locks...so I'm just planning on the stretch, some different wheels, a faster gear and motor, and a killer body...which I'll post pics of when it's done. | |

| I'm not sure how much I have it, its been a long 2 years. You can get a crawler built for under $300. Thank you for all the comments guys. Carnage report from the comp this weekend. I broke the axle shaft on course #3(good thing I had an extra to toss in it), and I broke the stub shaft after the comp when my radio decided to glitch and sent my truck off a 4 foot cliff. Not a big deal, I have been saving for some CVDs any way. Got some good battle scars on the body, I also killed my TCS Delrin lock plate for the dig, I guess I didn't have my end points set right:roll: I had to toss the steel lock plate back in it after the first course. | |

| I had bought a DX5 at a local hobby shop, but I found out another hobby shop had a deal on DX6's, so I got one and returned the DX5. This is a much better radio, and I only paid $65 for the system, its all brand new, and still has the factory warranty. I ended up paying $65 for the radio and receiver. I love this radio, its so awesome to not have any glitches!
