| Welcome! Gonna have to show them your radline as well. I don't like those atomic rims, they break on the micro-t and the xmods, I'd watch out if your running alot of power. What are you using for threaded axles? | |

| well i stoped by the local hobby shop to BS with the guys, and they had one more of the losi light kits, so i grabbed it when i got home i wasnt sure what i was going to use it on, but then i got the idea to spruce up the my micro T 1,shell it all came to place. so i tried to dye the stock ram tires black, but it didnt work out well. it only made them a darker shade of red and was sort of black where the yellow was. then i broke out the spray paint, i masked the wheels up painted them, they came out ok i guess but the masking left all this glue all over the tires, blah got to get me some wd40 hopefully that will remove the gunk. then i added the losi light kit to this shell as well as the black ram tires. im happy it spruces up this work-horse of a shell and micro... any hoot, i was trying out the DT tires a tad today befor the Giants game. The DT tires just didnt grip as well, the car kept sliding out with the DT's. they also didnt take on the bumps/twigs/leafs as well the ram tires did. needless to say i went back to the rams. I think the micro just does so much better with tires such as the Ram and the 3R large tires, they are perfect size with out looking as stupid as the atoimc monster tires. | |

| beyond stupid, like WTF..... just so gay So another thread on microtforum got me thinking, about how with my CF chassis the front bulk head sits hire in relation to the rear then it normaly wood stock, so i cut off the rear of a stock chassis as shim, i sanded down the portion where it meet the old stuck tube so it would all be flat. Now this will make the front and rear the same realtion as stock. oh yeah i forgot i had a mirror build thread over on Ripper7racing. basicly the same post as on one18th, just not as many responces and secondary infomation, but any hoot its a good read, and Ripper7racing is also a great place http://ripper7racing.com/r7rforums/showthread.php?t=1132 | |
