Part 1
Ok well I started out with two of these little buggers. One of them being the Target “Toy” one and one being the “Hobby grade” one sold at towerhobbies
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0095p?FVPROFIL=+&FVSEARCH=UNIMAX+RadlineWell on with the pics, as far as the CF chassis, it was a spare from an Extended Wheel base mid engine micro T project.
Some mock ups
Coming together
A Few more from last night
The front was a pain to mount, the nuts in which I used to hold the rear down where too large to fit in the front. So I just screwed the screws in then laid down a nice coat of CA glue on the screws and around the edges of the front clip. The front and rear is aligned very nice, I was happy about that. As far as being ridged the chassis most def is. How ever the stock plastic parts still do flex a bit. Depending upon space, I think im going to add some type of brace between the two shock towers, sort of like a Mini quake design.
I plan on using hobby grad electronics, might add some time to the build due to loot, or I just my rape one of my MRS4’s, not sure. But I think I will def have enough room for all the electronics, the battery I might just Velcro on top of the motor or something,
I still have to work mounting the servo, but I think I got that worked out also.
Part 2
just got to work out the servo and what not
she will be running on 7.4v 800mah 2 cell lipo velcorwed on top of the mottor, the stock lid will still close using the stock body post at stock level
i test fited it
