the following was copied by rclugnut from a post made by rclugnut10 (who really are one in the same) from www.rc411.com because rclugnut is a lazy bum and dosen't feel like retyping the same stuff...
I found this on RCU, but looks like HPI ain't resting while other compainies take all the money in the brushless monster truck class. It seems that HPI is coming out with a newly designed E-Savage, with a brushelss savage. The specs are still unknown for number of motors and max power input, but it is rummored to use a ESC similar to Castle's Monster Max it's also rumord to rock 2 motors, weather they're castles own motors rebagged or a Neu motor. They should be huge and more than enough power for anybody. If you don't belive me, here's an add that was said to be in this very magizine. Here's a video so you can see it for yourself.

I drove a stock e-revo (not the one that comes with the mmm, and brushless motor), and that thing is slow, I mean really slow. Yes the batteries make a differnce, but the motors that came stock with the e-revo wern't very strong. The truck handled ok for the lack of the right set-up on the track, but it really needed more speed for it to be aproved my me (lol, I can drive over powered cars around a track, so I wanted more speed so if could fly through the air a little longer).

yeah the stock titain's arent the bestest out thier from what i've read about them and i've seen alot of complaints about them on RCU. but yeah i like overpowered RC's my evader last time at the track, as the pack wore down i couldn't make a jump anymore.... thats how close i was to not making it, like my rear wheels would hit the lip but that was when it was brushed

the CG of the savage is accually debateable and rather adjustable even stock you put say 2 preloads and jack that thing up its riding pretty high, but yeah it can be slammed really low which is really nice.... so yeah rambling and showing off the savage HEY i wonder if HPI's LCG chassie would work on it...
