What is so bad about that crash??? Really it looks like a normal racing related crash.

This is what a real crash looks like after comming up short on a jump (I took the pic right after I got home, as I took the time to clean it while rebuliding the rear end hence the all the dirt) lol

You know what is funny, the T4 was my first real RC, although I also jumped right into racing so I have never bashed it.

IF you ever need any help with it, or if you want some set-up help I know that truck inside and out.

Also if you want to show off a broken a-arm it has to be cool like this (it is off of my 4wd buggy) lol

muscle, I bet if you seen any of my cars you would think they were new untile you looked at the bottom of the chassis and seen that it is all strached up from the track (before a race or a day or 2 after a race, durring a race I quick clean as needed).

i havn't done any major parts breakage, tho problly the most common point of failure for me is the shocks... uhh pulled the piston off 3-4 times on my evader, i think i busted a shaft on that maybe... tho i don't think so, 3 shafts on my savage, then my steering always gives way uhh totaling 3 servo gear sets, 3 servo horns, 2 bellcranks, then tranny parts 1 idler, 2 diff gears, 4 spurs (2 on evader, 1 on savage, 1 on b4) 2 CB's (freak accidedent), and i busted a diff spider gear from over tightening.... i geuss those hex screws weren't worth it in the end...

dang that is one heck of a crash lol and i actually do have a question that ive been batteling for a while now and just cant seem to really figure it out. my question is about the dog bones and rear hubs. my left dog bone keeps popping out of the left hub because it slides from side to side more than it should whenever i turn, and the only way i can keep that from happening is by angling the tire in a ton (if you look at the 6th pic you can sorta see it, ill try to get a better pic) could it be that the rear hub needs relacing do to the fact that the dog bone may have slightly stripped the inside of the hub from the dog bone spinning so much and hitting the inside of the hub repeatedly?

But i actually have it running again, i just jerry-rigged the arm and shock and it works just fine for now. But very soon ill be putting some more money into it getting the rest of the parts that it needs and then shortly after ill be selling it as an rtr truck cuz i dont use it enough.

you could put some fuel tubing or cut a spring from a clicky pen and use that to prevent falling dogbones had that issue on the fronts of my chaos, full lock and if they suspention compresses, as it does thru turns at full lock WOT on pavement...

You can do as lug said, although I perfer useing fuel tubeing over a spring.

Another thing I can think of is maybe the axel isn't shimmed right. There should be ~3 shims between then inner bearing and the axle (they slide over the axle before you put the axle through the hubs.

Is it only falling out when the truck turns? If so the rear t-plate might be broken, as when ever I have that problem or if some one else does that is one of the first things I will check. Normaly it will be in high speed turns that you will notice that, and some times in only one direction. A common place for it to break in in the rear where it goes under the motor mount and mounts to the tranny case.

As for my crash, really it wan't that bad and if you were to watch it you would be like thats it. That jump clamed a few t-plates that year (off of my truck and other peoples), and the biggest problem was that there was really no air under the cars when you went for that gap, so inturn you had to really give it some throttle out of the turn to clear it. So being a racer I try to time every jump so I down side it, and I was clearing all day that day without an issue. I got a little loose (I mean just slighty slid the rear end out of the turn, and if you were just watching the cars you might not have even seen it), but I went for the gap anyways and ended up cliping the rear wheels on the peak, and that was enough to snap the t-plate and tranny case. The only thing my truck did was spin out 180*. Also I knew it was a t-plate as that was my 2nd one that season (as I said there were a lot of broken cars from that jump), but when I picked up my truck the rear end "feel off" and the only thing I could do is laugth about it. The only bad thing was is that was on a pratice day, and of course the guy I was running with at the time (I was in front of him) asked why I went for it as he had to check up for me (yes there are a few of us at the track that can run with in a half inch of the guy it front of us and even tap their rear end with out spinning each other out).

Not sure why I typed so much, but that is the story. lol Also it is always the crashes that seem "plain" in racing that cause the most damage. BTW that jump also kill a few chassis as well, and the good thing for me is that that jump is no longer there, but the new layout has some things that were influnced by me so it should show who has the skills to run in the top half of the feild or even win. lol
