My name is Mark, I'm 45 years old, I like to read and take long quiet walks on the beach and I'm into naughty librarian types....OH wait, wrong forum!

OK seriously, I'm just a new RC addict, current rides include:

Traxxas Bandit XL-5
Bolink Sport 2000
XMOD Evo
Various bits sized Micros

Thinking about adding a "pede" for bashing fun but lately the 1/16 Traxxas offering is looking pretty interesting, I'd like a 1/18 scale basher as well and I keep looking hard at the re-furbed Pro-Pulses on eBay - at those prices, how can you go wrong for a beater?

Like lug I really don't know much about the mini's, although I will say if you get the pro-pulse be sure you can get parts. Although if I remember right rc18t parts should fit on them.

I knew that was you before I read the post I recognized the picture of the Bandit. Glad to see you joined us here, and for the recored I"m not the oldest one here anymore! (Maybe I wasn't anyway, I forget how old Bilbo is...but I think I'm older). I'd make an "old" joke here but I turn 44 in a few weeks so...

If you're interested in a ProPulse Bilbo had two for sale a while back NIB, I don't know if he still has them or even wants to sell them still but it might be worth asking when you're ready for one. BTW, if you decided you want to make your own car/truck, (yet) another site I'm on is exploring a 'what can you build for under $100' contest...it may get bumped to $150...if anyone's interested I'll make sure to let you guys know when it gets going.
