| I got my first bit of parts tonight, I got the pre lube for the bushings, now mine wont squeak like the ones in my friends Camaro. Summit shipped the rest in 3 boxes via UPS, they had to use FedEx for the lube since it was a chemical. They got the departure scan a few minutes ago, and should arrive at the UPS Tulsa shipping dock shortly, then they will be on a truck headed for my house . Last package was scanned. OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, US 07/11/2008 1:13 A.M. DEPARTURE SCAN Its amazing how long I can ramble on about nothing, isn't it? | |

| I didn't mean the spray paint, you can sniff spray paint. I was talking about the Testers acrylic model paint in the little bottles, along with the craft paint. My parts should be here any minute! I think the shipping companies are screwing with me. I have seen the USPS truck, FedEx, and DHL. Its horrible | |

| Doors are fixed. Everything is back together, it was a long road to go down but now it is finished. I'm more than happy, it runs great and is alot of fun to drive now! This will seem a little jumbled up since I copied it from the local Drag Forums Almost done, with the front suspension Once we got the front clip back on, I got the carb and distributor from some local racers for a great price! My b*itchen' wire looms :rotfl: Tomorrow night we should be able to fire it up, I have to get a EGR block off plate first though. Thanks, here is a small start up video from last night, I couldn't let it run to long because the fuel transfer tube on the carb is leaking, the O-ring was pinched, just a 20 cent fix . Need to get some mufflers on it, the timing is also WAY off. Its alive! We took out for a cruise for an hour or two, it runs and drives really nice now, on the highway its as smooth as can be. Also, it has got alot more power now, it will burn 'em off on command now. Smiley I have to get it align in a few days, first I need a install kit for my steering wheel. A picture, sorry about the thumb print on the lens Small video, sorry about the guys talking in the back ground. Exhaust is temporary till I can afford; Chromoly Double Hump Crossmember, X-pipe, Dumps, and Fowmaster 40's. And now this weekend, this is a over view of what I got done this weekend. I got my steering wheel installed Saturday morning(will get pics soon) This is the wheel I picked up, I got the 13 inch model, its the same exact model as shown, but advance auto had it for $69.99. http://www.grantproducts.com/pc-99-12-formula-gt-model.aspxI got it align right after I installed the wheel, took it to Dino's Tire and Wheel in Tulsa Oklahoma, which are some really awesome guys, they even let me pull my car into the bay. Today I got the tint removed from the passenger window finally, I had already done all the other windows a few months ago. After inspecting the engine bay and all the nuts & bolts I found out that you can't let your wires lay on the header, thank god all it did was melt the plastic covering, it didn't get to the wires at all. It runs really good and has a ton more power, it will light 'em up on command now. Once I can use my brothers lift at his shop I need to install my Torque Converter lock up kit, and shift kit. Now that I'm finished with the front its time to mow around back, I will be collecting this list of parts over the winter, and we will be rebuilding the rear in the spring. | Good God Shaun, how much lift do you have on that cam? It sounds like it's at least .50...I can see why it would make a lot more power. Oh and Bilbo, with those Purple Hornys he's running...it aint never going to be a sleeper. Looking good Shaun, I'm no expert on GM stuff but if I remember right, I think there are a couple of companies that make a piece that repositions the trailing arms to cut down on wheel hop. I know they were available for the A Bodies, and I think they are for your G Body...I could be wrong, although that hardly ever happens. | |
