| I know, this is what happens when I'm left home all day with a workshop and carbon fibre. It's not the best of quality( a messed up screw hole and some bad sanding cuz my dremel died), but it serves the purpose and still looks good. | |

| You also cut it on an angle to the weave a bit, but it still looks sick! | |

| It looks great. What did you use to cut it? Just wondering because I've never done anything with CF. | |

I'm not sure what he used, but I have use sewing thread to cut it before, I have used sewing thread to cut alot of stuff, it makes a nice, thin, clean, controlled cut.

| I used a dremel at first but then it died. Now I use a cutting wheel in my drill press at high speed. I also have a special blade for my band saw, too. But ive never used thread...

| Thats gonna really strip the screws out of the bulkhead(or pivot block not sure) if you don't have an aluminum one. Looks very well though and sewing string sounds interesting, I'll have to try that next time. | |

| Thanks, I'm kinda leary about driving it on concrete though now. Cuz those materials scratch easy, maybe I'll keep it carpet racer like it's always been. And I don't think I'm ever going brushless. The power now is great enough! | |

| If you do decide to try concrete you might want to get aset of the street tires from losi. They work great on smooth concrete.
Yeah fishing line and flesh can be bad...not as bad as the hooks...but bad. Or if you really want a pain try grabbing a catfish along the spine.
