| This thing has been laying around the garage for a while, I figured I might as well do something with it. The local track is going to be running Trans Am this winter, they ran it last winter, but I didn't have the money to get into it at the time. What I have to start with, is a stock E10. I have already made out a list of the parts I need, I will be buying them as I get the cash. I'm starting with a roller. Motor: Team Orion Core Stock 27T RX: Novak XXL TX: Futaba 2PL ESC: Tekin G-11, or Novak Dually Servo: Airtronics 94162Z High Torque Ball Bearing Servo Battery: 4700mah Max Amps 4 Cell I'm going to be making some custom shock towers so that I can use some cheaper oil shocks, other than the HPI oil shocks, that cost $35 a pair! As for a Body I'll be going with the AAR Cuda http://hpiracing.com/products/en/17510/These HPI Vintage wheels http://hpiracing.com/products/en/3815/And of course the Vintage HPI Tires Front: http://hpiracing.com/products/en/4797/Rear: http://hpiracing.com/products/en/4793/Anyone got an idea on color? I want something that looks vintage, like its from "back in the day" I have plenty of time to get this car ready, we wont start racing till late fall/ early winter. I'll get pictures of my starting point tomorrow. Thank you, Shaun | |

| Hey shaun does it cost you to run on that track, cause all the tracks around ehre I have to pay like 7 dollars for 10 minutes. An E10 seems like a good platform to start off of. Diffintely looking foward to a cuda though. | |

| It sounds good, I want me one of those too. I am looking forward to seeing pics cuz I've never heard of an e10. As for the body, the 440 six pack version of the cuda has a very nice red paintjob with some nice stripes(thats all I know off the top of my head)

Before I give an answer I have to pick apart your post. I'm in that type of mood today. 1. Bilbo is a proper name and should always be Capitalized. The first word in a sentence should always be Capitalized. The letter I when used as a pronoun should always be capitalized. 2. The correct version of a word that sounds alike is always best. There is a direction the correct word would be "They're" as in the are. 3. dat? NO it's That. Dat makes you sound like it's from a poorly written Italian Mob movie. 4. Puncuation, you are missing Periods, Question Marks, Commas and probably a semi-colon. Now this is how it should have been written. "Bilbo, where did you get those pics?" They're (or They are) really nice; I like the orange the best. Personally I would go with that." Now to answer the question. I used a search engine called Google and first typed Mopar Colors 1970. That got me the site that had the list. then I used Google again typing each of the colors names to get sites with images of cars in the colors. I like Plum Crazy but for seeing on a track Panther Pink, Sublime and Top Banana might be better.

| Wow Bilbo, that's a mouthfull of an Enlgish lesson. I do admit, that sometimes bad posts really get on my nerves, but brushlessmicrodude has improved a lot. And if anybody dosen't know this already: to get the flat black(or any flat color) on an r/c body, simply paint the intended flat color on the outside of the body. I would only recommend it for show, though, as it is not durable with thi method and scratches easily.

Schwenzo That post he did was not the worst but he can do a heck of a lot better. My main reason for the post is for a site to attract new members the first time viewers must be able to understand what people are talking about. If you have illegible posts the people that visit for the first time will think there are a bunch on unintelligent hoodlums here lets try another site. There are plenty of sites that have useless postings by kids increasing their post counts. Personally I would love to see the post counter not shown except to the site admin and maybe the mods. We should try to be the site where the people who want to know more about their vehicles can come and learn. I admit I don't know everything, but I do look up information so I can give articulate and correct answers when I can.

| I'm sad that there is no GTO's (I like the 64 gto the most), then I like the '71 cuda (those are my top 2 cars form that time frame. Also I like cars that are blue the most, but at the same time I like yellow cars (but I don't like yellow that much ) Although I really like the 1923 t-bucket | |

3. dat? NO it's That. Dat makes you sound like it's from a poorly written Italian Mob movie. Hey! why do we always have to be mob figures? Actually, "dat" sounds like Ebonics, i.e. "what up wit dat." If you want proper Italian Mob Movie genre speech it would be "dem," i.e. "yo, Bilbo. Where'd ya get do-s pic-yas? I really like dem." Or, if you're talking Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr etc. it would be more like "he daddy-o, where did you get those crazy snap-shots? I'm really digging them." Oh, and as long as we're doing English lessons, i.e. probabally confused a few people so... : i.e. is from the Latin id est. (It's actually an abbreviation for id est.) Which in Latin means "that is," or "that is to say." It is used to explain or expand a general term and shouldn't be confused with "e.g." which means roughly "for example." It is used as a prepositional phrase (the id introduces the est.) this is not a set in stone rule and could be argued that "i.e." is actually a function of conjunctional language but that is a subject that would fill an entire book and would go over every-one's head (including me). hey dat was fun

If you noticed I said a poorly written Italian mob movie. I went to school with enough wanna be South Philly gangsters to know a poorly written script. - sidewinder wrote:

Languages I wish I did learn in order of importance to me. German Gaelic (Irish) Welsh Italian Spanish Greek Korean Now back to the subject. Shaun are you custom mixing the color from Pactra or Parma/PSE paints or are you going to try the real automotive paints. I've heard that automotive paints will work on lexan but a lot of prep work will be needed.
