| Well i think for my summer project in gona do an 1/8th electric conversion. Now im not doing it outrageously expensive, but not too cheap to where it falls apart every time i drive it (im sort of copying sk8r) Planed so far: Tekin RX8 system Probably zippy lipos A nice high speed 180oz/in servo As for the platform... Im undecided. Its a toss up between an Xray 808, Losi 8ight, or an Associated RC8 (all of these come in '"T" versions) Any advice would be appreciated | |

| How about a 1/8 Hot Bodies buggy for $95 shipped? I saw it on R7R the other day and no one has responded, the owner was going to do a brushless conversion but never got around to it. R7R FS buggy | |

| that'd be 1/10 and 2wd and kinda weaker on the tranny, meaning that tekin system will eat it before you plug in the batts.... the lug | |

| One of the 1/5 scale 5B clones might make a really cool coversion donor too. A little pricey, but it's huge. | |

| Hey if you ever get around to finnishing this up, the tekin RX8 is unreal with how much power it has and how driveable it is at slow speed (less then 1/8th throttle). I got to see it for myself as there is a guy I race with localy that is a team member for them, and that thing is just far better then the castle MMM set-up. | |

| Hey I just noticed that the Exceed 1/8 Madfire buggies are on sale at nitrocx.com for $199 new and you could ebay the motor and radio gear to get part of the cost back. It's the one speed beginers version but since you'll be tossing the motor anyway it might be a good base. They have the forward only Mad Beast truck on sale for $299 Mad Beast but since you're going electric you don't really need their reverse anyway. | |
