| Heres an update... Its the bottom where the spare tire is located. The last owner put a rag in there to "absorb" the water so when we were cutting it caught on fire, lovely... | |

| That's always fun, the other thing to watch for is if your welding a patch on the body sometimes there will be some Bondo in the panel, if it has trapped any water it can explode...it's not really dangerious but it does startle the heck outa you. The TA runs ok, I was thinking it just needed a rear pro-stock type frame fabricated but when I got up under it I looks like it will need a full frame built from the back of the front sub-frame. It's not that hard to do, but it would probably cost more than the car would ever be worth so I think I'll pass. BTW, far anyone who doesn't know what we're talking about here's an example of a back-halfed car. | |

Bar brings up a good point, the kid at my school has a white RS with stripes and his is well, not so great, don't want to be associated with the car lol. However if I see it does need something to break it up I may go for it Sidewinder:Luckily I don't have a welder, I talked to a body man I know and he told me that sometimes he uses this epoxy for his panels so I'm given it a try and hopeing for the best. Yea if it needed a whole new frame you;d have to find a new one(Which would be hard and costly) If it runs decent and has a good body it might be worth a shot. No progress, rain and other problems are keeping me from workin on it. Also heres my color choice http://trucks.pcwize.com/images/new_dodge.jpgLove the color of the dodge trucks, I have a feeling with the aluminum rums the blue won't match.

| Building the frame from scratch wouldn't be that hard, I used to build race cars, but you have to figure around $1500 for the materials alone. Anyway, I saw a Camaro like yours that other day that was Hugger Orange with a black hood and roof like the old Rally Sport Camaros, it looked killer. like this except orange and newer | |

| I'm on the road this week in the Keystone state, I've seen quite a few of the 09 Camaros driving around - one hugger orange with black stripes on a dealers lot. Passed a dealer with a small handful of Dodge Challengers too. Great lookin cars in the American tradition - can't say for sure what will become of the Challenger but I think we can kiss the Camaro goodbye now that the combustion engine haters own Government Motors.
The irony is that it seems like Ford played their cards right and was able to ride this whole mess out but just like law abiding responsible citizens, they'll get their reward...
Sorry didn't mean to hi-jack the post...

| lol at least it won't have the issue i have in a prius where if i'm in the back and sitting up, my head hits the ceiling, yeah i'm 5'11" but there are MUCH taller out there, heck there's plenty of kids at school who are taller than me, so its kinda depressing that'd suck for someone who's like 6'3" or so ahh well.... wait, i may have toys bigger than that.... instead of the bumper stickerthat i want to make reading: i have toys that go faster than you it'll be i have toys bigger than your car,
done rambling | |

| My favorite bumper sticker ever was one that said "I brake for the heck of it," I had it on a Mustang, on the other side I had "I brake for hallucinations." | |

| The bumber sticker that came on this car said, driving to endanger, a good one if there weren't cops. Sadly I would hate to see combustion engines leave, electric c ars well, just don't have that sound. No more progress, I have exams next week, teachers are cramming and I'm freaking out with this workload! I have my bros graduation today and the party tomorrow so I have to do everything sunday. So well see if I get anything done next week. | |

| Sounds like it should look great... BTW, how much is Macco now? I remember the last time I was there the basic paint job was $299...but it's been a while so it's probably gone up. | |

| Mtm-Thanks! Sidenwinder, I know my dad painted his bronco 15 years ago it was 400 cause of how massive it was but I'm thinking anywhere between 400-500 depending on the size of the car. We are going in the next week or two to discuss things with maaco. I did that hatch and roof but no pics as it is raining AGAIN, gettin really sick of it. | |

It's a little known fact but chicks dig hood scoops...I'm pretty sure they do!
Seriously - nice work!

| What's wrong with a cowl induction hood scoop? You could go real retro and add a set of rear window louvers... with that much glass in the back it wouldn't hurt on a warm day either. | |
