Are you expecting better ones this year with the economy in the tank. I'm just hoping that they aren't all filmed by high school students on hand held video cameras.

Lol yea the commercials were really bad last year. Two or Three years ago they were really goood. The giants got that one catch last year to win the superbowl if he didn't catch that they would have been all over.

If the floundering companies are smart they will spend more on advertising to entice people to waste thire money on junk they don't really need.

The Cardinals did a great job, I'm not taking a thing away from them, but Philly got hosed by that call, or lack of one really...
The Steelers won though! but not without some pain:

That was a fun game to watch between the cards, and egales. I just liked that the cards are having the season of a life time right now, but then again they have 3 outstanding guys on there team, at the WR, RB, and QB spots.
As for that hit, that was somthing else. The sound of it when they ran into each other sounded like it was bad.

I liked both games really, Kurt Warner has always been good but never on the right team. truthfully I think McNabb has to go, in that game he had many open receivers but failed to deliver it. Westbrook has always been good and their defense is excellent.
The minute I saw that I knew he probably wasn't getting back up. What was his injury I didn't get a chance to catch what it was. Well I'm undecided about the superbowl and who I will root for.

I haven't heard yet what the actual injury was...I'm guessing either concussion or neck injury.

I watched sports center earlier today, and they said he is has been released, but they didn't really say what the injury was.

I was really hoping for a PA Super Bowl. When the last time the Steelers and the Eagles were in the conference championships the Eagles won and the Steelers lost.
I think the last time Warner was in the Super Bowl he won.

I would have enjoyed that, It could happen some year, and its a heck of a lot more likely than EVER having an Ohio team even in a Super Bowl during any of our lifetimes.

You knew somebody would post this. I think I got it right.
So an Oho team did make it twice but can't play each other because they are both currently in the AFC.
Indianapolis Colts played one Super Bowl as a NFL (now NFC) team before the merger of the AFL/NFL (When in Baltimore.)
The Original Cleveland Browns are the current Baltimore Ravens, took a move to get to the big game.
Same as the Tennessee Titans, they were the Houston Oilers but didn't do well there.
The Rams made to the game in both LA and Saint Louis forms.
The Raiders made it to the game for both Oakland and Los Angeles.

Yeah, the Bengals went twice in the 80's I think both times were against the 49ers??? I should look that up, I know once for sure...They never were really anything special after Paul Brown left as coach, ok, they did have a few good years...but it still wasn't the same.
I got to know Charlie Joiner a few years ago when I worked with the Browns Alumni Association (very briefly), he is a friend of Dick Schaftraff's and comes up to visit every now and then...usually when Lou Groza had a dinner for his friends...so I guess last time I saw Charlie was 98 or 99, hum, it doesn't seem that long ago... Oh, I'm rambling. Anyway, when I was a kid Cincy was great! After Brown left the shine just kind of went away for me.

I hope so, but I gotta tell you, it was more fun all of those years waiting for #5...I loved my "one for the thumb" tee shirt. I'm not sure the Steelers will win though, every step of the way people have predicted the Cards as losers, that has to be pretty good motivation.
