All speed we can get! Project

Hey!
In this project Ill try to get the most speed out of my micro.
Right now I have:
Esc: Quark 33a- modded, replaced wires, removed switch.
Motor: Team Orion Vortex motor 10300kv and 9500kv.
Battery- losi 2 cell 300mah, Secret Hyperion battery, and custom 3 cells.
Tx/Rx- Fm from pro-pulse truck. Replaced RX antenna with brass antenna.
Chassis- 3 racing DT carbon fiber
Body:Scorrpion, stock DT, DBR bodies.
And a bunch of other stuff.
49t spur- needed for high speed
losi pinion set- need the 14 thoot for high speed
Rpm bumper-Good for protecting my micro from crashes
Servo Tape- It was a good deal and may need it for future
Losi 2.4 TX-Cheap, good range, spektrum technology
Another set of Pinions- For the future if the 14t pinion wears out
New diffs-May need them if my diffs break
Spektrum sr3500 rx- Really tiny, Just what I need, spektrum technology

Just letting you know that it is in fact real CF Looks great Edd! Did thoes window stickers come with the body?

Real CF ...and I thought I went for overkill on projects. That's pretty impressive.

I would remove those stickers they add weight, jk, the car looks really nice. Must be a hella good time to drive. nice micro-t

hey have you had any issues with the screws in the chassis stripping out, that happened to mine in about a week...

No no issues I switch to aluminum screws so I dont have any problems.

looky fast, very fast, especailly with those orion motors, whats the capastior go to? the esc? that has to give it a bit of zip too, cuz its a big cap, (i also know too much about capasitors)

If I hadn't already stretched all three of my micros I would be interested. Are they custom molded or is it a big company that makes them? Just thinking ahead for a future project...I might be making a custom body, I was going to sculpt it in clay and then vac-u-form it, but Cf would be cool.

Hmm I got it from a guy on microtforum wich is selling them for the price I posted I know its made by finalevolutionrc

it looks like they get like a roll of CF, put it on basically a mold with 2 sides, epoxy it, and then use a relase agent on the mold and do it that way, then trim what needs to be, i'd be warry of the edges if that was the case i'd run some CA along the edges, just don't use your figners, never done seeing as i own no CF but i could see me glueing my hand to the body, i've done it to the table not fun..., i say this because if you take a good hit, and it flexes it could cause it to start to fray/come apart, around the edges if its be cut there, before it was glued... if its allready been like expoyed around the edges ignore what i just said, so yeah....
my team was looking to use CF for a project, but the stuff is expensive and can be a female dog to work with, just cuz the uber small fibers and your lungs =
