| Now for my racer. TA RC18T. It is mainly stock. Well it does have Lundford Titanium Tie-Rods, Deans Connectors, Aluminum Steering Linkage Driven Production Gear Protector and Motor Cooling Fins. Parma Classic Custom Body And Parma 24th scale Stock Car Driver. And since the pictures have been taken I added a Futaba FAAST 2.4Ghz Radio Now I just got to get the setup right to finish better. I've only raced it once and I did as well as I expected. I came, I saw, I got my buns kicked. Well I don't go in with an attitude that I'm going to win in my first race with a Car/Truck. | |

I guess you are unable to read as well as you post nonsense. I Guess I should give you the list again. Lundford Titanium Tie-Rods Driven Productions Gear Protector (A must for any RC18 owner) Dean Connectors Futaba FAAST Radio System Aluminum Steering links Cooling fins for the motor Losi Street Tires for back alley test runs (I race indoors with BRP Foams) I forgot the RPM Front Bumper I do have another body I run on it occasionally, but I like the classic for it's looks.

| Let me get this topic back on track (ignoring pointless blmd post, that is one of the reasons he has the warnings I believe. ) I found an image of my two favorites, my RC18T and Micro-T. Sort of like father and son in that image. Yes I masked and painted them at the same time. I liked the Red and black on the Classic Body. The Flames are Automotive Pinstripe Tape. I like BRP's Hauler body for the Micro-T but he doesn't make one for the RC18T (or even the Mini-T.) Yes I bent the clips up on purpose, makes them easier to remove and install. Now nobody here commented about the driver figure, I'm disappointed. It's not a great job on the driver but when I raced 24th scale slotcars years ago one of the rules was all cars had to have a driver figure to race. So I kept that tradition alive in my Mini's. I think they should reinstate that rule in RC (especially with Mini's.) This one is a 24th scale driver but it looks OK to have a halfling (for Tolkien fans it's a HOBBIT) driving the truck. There is a reason I'm called Bilbo Baggins. | |

| I try and put drivers in all my minis, trouble is I'm running low on 20 year old driver figures for slot cars. I know Parma still makes them, I think they have them on their web site and drag racing drivers. I really would like to stick a driver in the Micro-T but the 32nd scale ones I have were all for European GT racing (Right Hand Drive) and would have trouble fitting correctly. I wasn't sure I wanted my Micro-T look like it was coming home from the Pub in England. | |

There maybe some left hand drive ones out there, but I haven't seen them. I'm thinking when I have time I may google search to see what I can find. Or I can see if the LHS Shaun races his slotcars at can get some. Now I have to IM Shaun too.

| You can find them for the following range of prices at most online shops. Some LHS's may charge more.
RTR - $159.99 - $179.99 Factory Team Kit - $129.99 - $159.99
The kit requires you to install your own electronics but has hop-up parts included.
I wonder what TA hasn't come out with a factory team kit for the RC18R.

| My next planned upgrades to the RC18T are as follows.
CVD's (MIP or 3Racing) Upgrading Diffs (MIP Super Diffs.) Adjustable Shocks (Factory Team or 3Racing)
Main problem is no cash for upgrades right now.

RC18 is the series of vehicles using the platform. RC18B and RC18T Factory Team Kit are the same price range. RC18B, RC18MT and RC18T RTR's are the same price range. Only the RC18R is higher (165.99-189.99) than the rest. My RC18T started as a 18B and I changed the shock towers. The front buggy body mount is being used to hold down my transponder (it's taped and clipped down.)

| Cool, if someone released a micro driver, it'd be sweet, and i like the driver in your rc18t! It completes the look! | |

It completes the look! That's what I was thinking. Now to convince the rest of the racers and the manufacturers, that is the problem.

| Thanks sidewinder. I think I'll be able to get some funds for a driver or three. Place it on the top of the ESC cover instead of taping into the body like my 18th scale trucks. | |

| Taping?
Hey Bilbo, I have found the magical answer for slot car interiors and glass in drag cars. Hot glue. Its awesome, if you wan to take something out just peel it off and its out, but other than that the hold strength is really good.
Sorry to get off topic, lol.

Sorry to get off topic, lol. I'm too old school. strapping tape holds well and is removable. Heck, I used to move my driver figures around if I did well with one figure instead of another. I think you got a few of my drivers in a trade didn't you.
