| I think I'll post in this section. First up My Pro-Pulse (Megatech) PRO-T100. Haven't really done much to this one, it's more a basher than racer. First I changed out the plugs (to Deans) and repositioned the ESC from the top plate to the main chassis between the motor and servo. But the I looked at the FUGLY body and said to myself, "Self get rid of that thing." So I had a Hummer SUT body for my Mini-T and figured with a little finagling I might be able to make it work. OK, the wheelbase isn't exact but it doesn't look too bad. I did redo the front sponsor logo, I didn't like the original look. The sponsor decals came from a sheet for a 24th scale slot car. | |

| Love the Hummer body; thy always make me think of a t-shirt I saw with a hot chick on her knees saying "remember, soldiers need hummers." Wait what was I saying? I think I lost my train of thought... Oh yeah, nice hummer Bilbo. | |

That train has been derailed for years hasn't it. - brushlessmicrodude wrote:

Yea around 20, I think I got one of the good stock motors. Unless you are racing on a track against someone or against the clock who really cares as long as it's fun. and mine really is fun.

| I have a new in unopened box one in my basement. Well I have two but I may use one to pay off the neighbor kid for helping me with yard work.
The are currently being sold by Tower under the Megatech brand name. They are using the alternate RS bodies on them.

| Watch ebay, I just saw one go for $22.58 plus something like $10 shipping. It looked like it had barley been run. | |

| A $100 pro pulse seems a little pricey for yard work...haven't the illegal migrants made it that far yet? I've been thinking of having some landscapeing, a little gardening and maybe even house painting done... I mean what else am I going to do with that twenty dollar bill laying on the table? Yep, I'll just kick back and enjoy it here at Uncle Jaun's Cabin... | |

I'm not hiring no illegals, I need to keep a good rep if I ever go through with my threat of running for office. - brushlessmicrodude wrote:

And considering I got them for less than full price it is a good deal for me to give one to the kid for working in my yard, and he'll be working very hard. Unless someone here wants to make me a decent offer via PM (And don't forget shipping costs to where you live, I'm on the east coast.) Ask Shaun how I handle trades and sales, he's dealt with me.

| If I hadn't just dumped a ton of money into the Wheely King and some, as of yet, unistalled hop-ups, I'd be all over that. I was skeptical at first you pro-pulse guys have changed my mind...even if it did come from RS. | |

| I personally would go for an 18t, its just built better, and the electronics are of higher quality.
BTW, could you post pics of your wheely king?

| I've found the Pro-Pulse to be as durable as the RC18T, I have both. | |

| I can post up some stock pics but I have to save for a new camera I just killed my Fuji S7000 at the races... too much mud and dirt. As soon as I can afford it I'm going for the 12mp Canon or maybe the new Minolta...then I'll get up some pics. So far its pretty tame though, 20 turn motor...widened the wheelbase, moved the battery. I have the HPI crawler conversion on back order and I may go brushless soon. | |

The Fuji S7000 is an expensive camera to fix, I know this too well. Which 12MP Canon? New Minolta, there are no new Minoltas, Sony bought them out and the only thing they make that has Minolta's technology is their Alpha Digital SLR. Why a 20T motor in the Wheely King? I thought for crawling you should be using 45-65T motors for the torque. The other changes sound like good moves for that truck. Everybody seems to want to go brushless. Well, I do to but the funds aren't there.
