Ultimate XXX-T Build!!!

Well i had to graduate from the micros sometime, so i decided to go all out with my xxx-t. This time i was serious!

Heres where i was a couple months ago:
A simple body change, and an esc change.

A month later and i had finnally got myself to save up for a Losi 7500KV Xcelorin Brushless system Losi Street Weapons and a 7 cell 4600mah side by side pack.

Not only that but i found the system to have so much power that i striped my 2nd tranny gear (bottom pic above vid)

So i upgraded to a kevlar reinforced gear (came in a set of 2!)

Now i have gotten the idea of it deserving a new lid!

I have also seen a need for a cooling source for the motor so i bought the xxx-t cr fan mount ad the smallest fan in the lhs (the only one that fit LOL!)

dang it i want a video racing

Next weekend i will hopefully have enough traction to be able to race lol!
I was spining out in every ture this last sunday!
But whats weird is my xra was hooked up too much, i was traction rolling!
The week before this one i was spinning with my xray, and rolling my xxx-t!
Its weird how the traction varies from week to week. But i gus its better that way, it test the driver and his/her ability to set a car up.

In the last pic it looks like your cars gonna run over the fuzz.

Very cool truck wish there were some tracks around here. i have learned traction is very different when it comes to temperature, so much more traction when its hot out.

That's because when it's cold I think the moisture in the soil condeses making it looser for less traction. I know, I'm kinda like a science nerd.

Also your tires are not as warm making them less plyable and tacky

No, but trust me a 2.4ghz is needed!
I use a JR XR2i system

Its a very reliable system, and hight quality, but it get unrliable when you get to 50mph and your tires vibrate the whole car! range is cut in half!
even then i get about 400ft of range.

Yup, but ts a great system! The only way you can get them now new is if you find one on e-bay, or get an older losi rtr with the system.

Very good! that is the main reason that clays (found in all dirt) change adheasion. And the point about the plyability of the rubber is good too. There is another reason as well. The sunlight evaporates tha water more quickly breaking down the chemical bonds. Clay can be characterized as being a molecule of alumina and two molecules of silica bonded with two molecules of water. Even after the atmospheric water is gone, the clay still contains some 14% of chemically bonded water by weight. SO even on a dry day, this chemically combined water's bond loosens when heated. The looser the bond the grippier (sticky) the soil, well until it dry out too much and then the bond is reduced to the point that it breaks easier and loses grip. At least that's what I think is happening, I'm not a scientist (or even close) but I have raced 1:1 cars on dirt for more years than most of you have been alive so I've done a bit of reading on this topic.

Going into 9th grade 14 and a half. I'm gonna be a freshman as well...back on topic kinda.

Its been 95 degrees up herer and all of my cars have been gripping very well but a lot more tire wear from what I have noticed.

Huh, I guess I'd be in the 17th grade... going to grad school for my PhD in English Lit. So if you take any 3 of your ages and add them together that would be roughly my age:) Oh Bilbo and Shaun's ages wont work... but the rest of the people...

For me this fall will be my 3rd year in college. Well really it is a tech school, but you still have to take the normal gen ed classes.
