| So I've bitched at people for not doing the maintenance on their cars (real and RC) I don't know how many times. I really think it's dumb to not take the time to make sure everything is in good condition. Usually these are the sme people who the complain and call their car a POS when something breaks that could have been prevented.
OK, so I've got the WK out today at a park by the house. I noticed the left front wheel was wobbling a little and figured it was a tore pulling lose so I thought I might as well run it until it gets really bad. I changed the battery to a fresh pack and took it up on the pavement for some wheelys while the pack was fresh. The parking lot was slightly uphill so I was able to ride a wheely for probably 60 or 70 feet. When I turned around and went to do it again the truck popped up nicely, lifting the right front wheel in the air... the left front however, stayed on the ground and rolled back to me.
After all of my whining over the years I forgot to check the lug nits. Duh. | |

| lol, but that had to look really funny seeing a truck go up on 2 wheels and a wheel just rolling along like it wanted to do it's own thing. On a side note, can I call my car a POS when I have a random thing go wrong? Well this is story time, and I like story time. lol This is one of my racing stories from series race that I went to (I didn't run the series just one of the races) last June, and is only part of the story for that day, as I could talk about my 4wd buggy, and even some of the pit chatter and even complements on my driving. I will warn you it is somewhat long. Ok this really happend to me at a bigger race last year (it was my first time going there) and I was running a new BL motor that I got about 3ish weeks before (I have a Novak GTB for the ESC so it is a sensord esc). On my T4 I had one of the faster cars on the track, and it pratice it was working great until I was watching on of the electric 8 scales land on another car (mind you that I was still on the track driving) and I broke an a-arm (I think that was the turing point of the day). Then in heat #1 I was doing ok, but I was crashing a little too much on one jump (I was having issues on that jump in pratice as well). Then after maybe half way through the 5 min heat I lost power to my motor, but the turn marshall found that the sensor wire came off, and pluged it back it so I can finnish the heat (after I lost about 30 sec to a min off the master clock which hurt any chance of making the show). Then in the pits I put some shoe goo around the plug to help keep it in, but that didn't help for long as in heat 2 I lost power to the motor again only after about 3 or 4 laps (or about 1 1.5 mins of running). So I pull off my truck, head back to the pits (after I marshal of coure) and look things over push the plug back it and the motor works fine but at this point I was thinking it had to have some type of issue (but it was working so I didn't think much about it). Then in the main I ended up last in the C-main (there was as low as a d-main), but I knew I was faster then all of the guy's in that main, as some of them I have raced in the past or I was smoking them that day when I was runnnig. Durring the warm up lap my truck was working great, but when I went to line up for the start again I had no power. Then one guy gave me a shove in the back with their truck (as I said those were the people that couldn't drive very good or just not very fast) and my truck has power again although it had a strange grinding noise so I pulled if off for the start. I was thinking great I blew my tranny or somthing happned to my new motor, so when I got home I took the motor apart and everything looked great, and with the motor out I spun the tranny bay had and every thing was as smooth as butter. Then I looked at the sensor wire and found that 2 of the wires broke off and that is what caused my day to go from great to crap. lol As I said that is a long story, and if you have any questions as to what I am talking about like some of the racing terms just ask (or if you want anymore info). Anyways today I spent most of the day helping work on the local off-road track to get it bulit for the upcoming season. Then I finnished rebuliding my gramps engine on his riding mower, that bent a push rod, and broke one in half. Now it runs great, and I am happy that it is now done as now I can finnish painting a rc drag car for a client in CA. | |

| can i get the english version of this???? After the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, the newly-formed government developed a philosophy of socialism with the eventual and gradual transition to Communism. The state which the Bolsheviks created was intended to overcome national differences, and rather to create one monolithic state based on a centralized economical and political system. This state, which was built on a Communist ideology, was eventually transformed into a totalitarian state, in which the Communist leadership had complete control over the country. from http://www.coldwar.org/articles/90s/fall_of_the_soviet_union.aspthe lug | |

| Sure Lug, After they were done killing the rich people the new government started talking about "hope and change" but what they really did was take over all of the businesses, sort of like a modern President firing the head of a big car company. They took over little by little until they had total control over ever part of the peoples life...they made people work for the government whether they wanted to or not, sort of like saying everyone between 18 and 35 will be "required to volunteer two years of their life to public works." Eventually when things quit working altogether, because governments can't run jack crap properly, they blamed the people for not trying hard enough and had kids spy on their parents and each other to make sure no one said anything bad about the government...sort of like the GIVE bill that just passed the House and is headed to the Senate. So basically just exactly like the direction we are headed in now. The bad news is the government just added $68,000 to your lifetime taxes already owed, but the good news is that soon, if you get pissed off at me you can go to your government "youth advisor" and tell them I was saying nasty things about them, then they will come and take me to a "re-education" camp. Hope this helps. | |

| OH, I just realized something...if this is for school don't repeat any of that to your teacher since she is probably on the side of our new communist leaders and doesn't even know it...most of them aren't too smart. If you say anything bad about their idols you might end u in the slow class. | |

| oo speeking of canada i found 2 rly funny canadian jokes yestarday - Quote :
- Two guys from Toronto die and wake up in heck.
The next day the devil stops in to check on them and sees them dressed in parkas, mittens and toques warming themselves around the fire. The devil asks them, "What are you doing? Isn't it hot enough for you?"
The two guys reply, "Well, you know, we're from Canada, the land of snow and ice and cold. We're just happy for a chance to warm up a little bit, eh."
The devil decides that these two aren't miserable enough and turns up the heat.
The next morning he stops in again and there they are, still dressed in parkas, toques and mittens. The devil asks them again, "It's awfully hot down here, can't you guys feel it?"
Again the two guys reply, "Well, like we told ya yesterday, we're from Canada, the land of snow and ice and cold. We're just happy for a chance to warm up a little bit, eh."
This gets the devil a little steamed up and he decides to fix these two guys. He cranks the heat up as high as it will go. The people are wailing and screaming everywhere. He stops by the room with the two guys from Canada and finds them in light jackets and bucket hats, grilling sausage and drinking beer.
The devil is astonished, "Everyone down here is in abject misery, and you two seem to be enjoying yourselves."
The two Canadians reply, "Well, ya know, we don't get too much warm weather up there in Toronto so we've just got to have a cook-out when the weather's THIS nice."
The devil is absolutely furious, he can hardly see straight. Finally he comes up with the answer. The two guys love the heat because they have been cold all their lives. The devil decides to turn all the heat off in heck.
The next morning, the temperature is below zero, icicles are hanging everywhere; people are shivering so bad that they are unable to do anything but wail, moan and gnash their teeth.
The devil smiles and heads for the room with the two Canadians.
He gets there and finds them back in their parkas, toques, and mittens. NOW they are jumping up and down, cheering, yelling and screaming like mad men!!!
The devil is dumbfounded, "I don't understand, when I turn up the heat you're happy. Now it's freezing cold and you're still happy. What is wrong with you two???"
The Torontonians look at the devil in surprise, "Well, don't you know? If heck freezes over, it must mean the Leafs have won the Stanley Cup." and temp convertion chart - Quote :
- The Official Canada - U.S. Temperature Conversion Chart
50° Fahrenheit (10° C) Californians shiver uncontrollably. Canadians plant gardens.
35° Fahrenheit (1.6° C) Italian Cars won't start Canadians drive with the windows down
32° Fahrenheit (0 ° C) American water freezes Canadian water gets thicker.
0° Fahrenheit (-17.9° C) New York City landlords finally turn on the heat. Canadians have the last cookout of the season.
Minus 60° Fahrenheit (-51° C) Mt. St. Helens freezes. Canadian Girl Guides sell cookies door-to-door.
Minus 100° Fahrenheit (-73° C) Santa Claus abandons the North Pole. Canadians pull down their ear flaps.
Minus 173° Fahrenheit (-114° C) Ethyl alcohol Freezes. Canadians get frustrated when they can't thaw the keg

| Its bassically an argument over a commen topic between two or more people opposed to eachothers veiws. You have to use morals and values (impossiable to prove or back up) to support your side. It ends up totaling to about 30 minutes of speaking infront of the entire class...
IT SUCKS!!! | |

| If it's an open forum just keep asking "why" to everything your opponent says. No one can keep answering and eventually you'll make him (or her) look like a moron. for example using something I don't think anyone could argue against (at least I hope they wouldn't): Opponent: Slavery is wrong. You: Why? OP: Because no one has the right to own another human. Y: Why? OP: Because we are born free. Y: Why? OP: It's in our constitution. Y: And that makes it right? Why? ...and so on, and so on...pretty soon no matter what the question is it comes down to the same answer--because that's what I feel. "What I feel" always loses the argument. A good teacher wont let you do this, but luckily most teachers don't really care that much. | |
