| Yeah the whole electrical tape thing is super easy, and yeah shrink wrap just looks factory, especially when you get the same color as the wires. All that finally stopped for me today, I got a 40watt iron and some solder and flux from radioshack. Nothing big, just an 8 dollar iron, but its really good! I like it better than my old hobbico one. So now that I've spent a solid hour soldering up a bunch of batteries ans esc's. I CAN REST!!!! (thats how i feel right now) Schwenzo | |

The sick Schwenzo That is the worst, cause all you can do is lie down and do nothing, but..... I GOT MY PERMIT TODAY I only got 2 questions wrong, and i went driving as well. I'm not good at the whole slowing down and turning thing...at least the tires werent squealing . Now if I could only get a new battery for my car.

| Haha, yeah driving is a bit tricky at first. The first car I drove was my dads 4 door tahoe... You dont realize how much of a tank that truck is until you drive it! Now I'm a very good driver, so good in fact that my traffic instructor gave me a waiver. Now to get my license all I have to do is give them my waiver and permit and whela! No test OR driving! | hopefully going for my licence tommorow YAY, but yesterday me and my dad discovered out 06 explorer has excelent traction control... its hard to do burnouts and such with that on a lake... he was teaching me what it felt like to be "out of control" it was very fun indeeded but you lost power soon after you lost traction like you pushy gas and it no worky and the snow was a tad sticky but it was still pretty slick....

| reyzo your lucky you dont have to take the test.
My brother is the only one with 4wd in his ranger and well he doesnt use it much because he likes to drift in the snow.
Unfotunately my moms 00 taurus has a sticky gas pedal so you launch quickly and its not smooth at all, not very fun.
Hopefully it snows again when my car is running so I can practice "skid control"

| Haha, thats how my drivers ed cars were, old chevy cavaliers with gas pedals that had no response till you pressed it enough to do a burn out, and then they'd yell at you!!! I hated drivers ed... Schwenzo | |

| muscle, just praticing isn't good enough, as you will learn more when you are in a crash or spin on the road. I only say that as it is a better over all lesson, but playing in a parking lot works just fine.
Also I dirve a fwd car, but I will slide it around turn just for fun. A few weeks ago when the road were clear (it is rare this time of the year will all the snow) I took a turn really hard and went sidways though it (it wasn't a drift, more of just a big slide). Although I like to push the car to the point where the tires make noise (my roads are narrow and it is hard to tell if there is another car comming or not durring the day time, so it isn't a good idea to get out of your lane (of course I will still cross the yellow line to apex the turn)).
Reyzo, that is because they don't want you to go too fast. Although it is way harder to drive a car like that or one that has a stiff pedal as it is hard to fine tune your speed with out giving the car too much gas. lol

| Yeah I know what you mean evil3, but still, it'd be nice to have a decent car for that of all things. My moms car is a full time 4wd(its a rice burning toyota though...) so it NEVER slides, not even if you try your hardest. I've come to the conclusion that it will traction roll before you get it to slide... Its almost like it has a locked rear diff...
Schwenzo
