My fun for the day is that I raced my T4 at one of the other tracks in the area (about an hour and half away from me), and they run 10 min mains with 2 bump ups, so I was in the B-main and smoked every one by 2 laps and I was only driving at 1/8th throttle and was ever just coasting for a long time off throttle just to save battery juice. Being that I was running a tekin 3400 li-po running 10 mins with an 8.5 is a bit hard, but I was able to do what I was doing and beat every one by 2 laps and then in the A-main a quick battery change to a loaned out 5000 smc li-po (it belongs to one of the guy's that I race with localy) I was able to start dead last (I should have been 2nd to last but whatever) with a feild of 10 in the main and I ended up finnishing 4th over all and I ended up running my T4 for 20 min stright.

Yes I said I raced an electric truck with a "mod" motor for 20 mins none stop (the A was right after the B), although I did have to make a battery swap. Keep in mind most places on run 6-10 min mains and ele classed don't normaly have bump ups.

yeah i got it fixxed after like 5 min, god it was such a stupid thing thats why i love google chrome, none of the extra bull %#@ that you DON'T need and its all very cleanly laid out and all the extra bars are poof, plus they got the one annoying thing fixxed on it, when you hit the center wheel button, you have that easy scroller deal it didnt' have that before, now i just gotta get back into the habit of it

my B4 is running on a thrust bearing from the evader, and all the electronics and part of the steerling linkage, (i lost the B4 one i had it hen i didn't so it got thefted from evader) so i can't wait to try this out its like .5lbs lighter than the evader and geared a bit higher, 24/81 so i can't wait to see the results, maybe i'll be able to get a vid too

B4's are very nice handleing cars for sure and jump GREAT,
also thinking about selling the evader, in place of an e-firestorm

The B4 doesn't jump great, but then again I can compare it to the other race cars. lol

Why an E-Firestrm, and not a T4 so you can use some of the same parts between the 2 cars?

idk, i'm still up in the air about either, i really like HPI stuff, and imo the B4 jumps great way better than the evader, which flys nose down, where as the B4 takes off either flat or nose up and you can control the angle very well, tho it can get sideways in the air on occation, tho thats prob my jump and yeah i wish i had the wider wheel base to land with, so i may go for a T4 FT kit of course, tho like i said i'm still in the air, the gear diff is sounding real nice right now, tho i know my latest diff problems aren't from a ball diff rather missing screws... and other parts crap spring washers, if they're there from the factory they should stay there... either way i'm still not sure, i think i'll give the parts another shot, so replace my motor plate cuz 2 of the holes are stripped i got 1 held in but 1 no way, so my tranny is only held together by 3 screws not 4 and the 4th is an important one and another important one needs that washer to keep it tight or else it loosnes and then the mesh goes out the window and then bye bye diff, and this was my epoxyed locker that lost it, time to break out the dremel.......

so i still dunno about the new truck i'm not 100% on the layout of the B4, idk my evader seems easier to work on, tho the 2 screws and you have the servo in your hand is nice... not uhh 8 but the tranny is a pita to get at... imo

i luv jet skis but spend enuff time on one and ur legs will be killin u for a few days i spent like 5 hours 2 days ago out on the lake with my friend and his fam on jet skis and had just riden like 10 miles on 20" bike so myu legs are killin me but shockinly im the only one that wasent sent flying off a jet ski my friends older bro was tryin to soak us with the spray so he came in fast turned and the spray came up lik 5 feet short and he was like 15 feet away fromt the ski lol and my bike needs a new front inertube and new rear tire after like 6 years of skids the tire is fuilly worn threw the wire and rubber so much that the iner tube is fully out of the tire in some places

Well I got back from a very long race day out at stateline rc raceway in IN on the IN, MI border. There were 250 entries, and the race/series is for electric off-road car only.

There were also some big name drivers at the race including Paul Sinclair and Walter Henderson (he is more of a local guy, but is more known for his on-road racing).

The race is a 1 day event that takes place on saturday, but it ended up being a 2 day event as we went on late into the night. The last main ran ended around 2am (yes 2am sunday morning), and the racing started around 10am saturday. There was also a rain storm that passed though on firday night so that made the track a mud pit on saturday, but the track crew got it ready to go in a hurry.

I race mod truck, and I ended up in the C-main (I know I could have been in the B-main, but I fliped over 1 too many times) and they went as far back as an E-main. I finnished in 4th, but I was right there for the lead that whole race as the top 4 were no more then 3 secs apart (that is quite good being that the track had lap times of about 45sec). Also in heat 1 I did case the south dubble, but I got lucky as I cracked an A-arm so I was able to finnish the rest of the race without issues (I cracked it in warm up laps).

After I found out where Paul Sinclair was pitting I chatted with him for a while (maybe 30mins), as well as the owner of X-factory. I have to say it was fun, although I was out of it as it was like 1am.



Now for some pic's. I didn't take these pic's, and that isn't my car. But that 8th scale does give you an idea as to how big of a gap the south dubble is.
Also they are not from race day as they took those pic's a few weeks before the race.

lol its raining here too not bad but it will be for a while, yeah lugging stuff around sucks, i work in a grocery store i probs move at least a 1000lbs of food a day... but i get paid for it, but still it does suck to find you really need a case of beer on the bottom of a 8ft stack of beer...

i completely forgot about x-games, haven't seen any commercials as I have yet to watch a bit of tv since 2 weeks ago. It rained today on me and we had to finish the job so i worked in the rain for a couple hours and picked up tree limbs and made flower beds. I'm leaving for conneticut sunday for a 4 day trip.
